Groove membership is open to anyone 12 - 19 years old who has been a member or regular attendee of Word of Truth Church in Huntsville, AL for at least three consecutive months prior to tryouts. Try outs last for 5 weeks. During the first four weeks, potential Groove members are learning choreography to a song. During the 5th and final week the choreography is demonstrated during Final Try-outs. During each of the 5 try-out weeks, points are granted for enthusiasm, teamwork, submission to leadership, etc. Emphasis is on attitude and enthusiasm more than skill and ability. Groove tryouts are held every six months, usually in February and August. Our Tryout Plan and Tryout Score Sheet are provided for your review. |
